GOD’S WAY
Did you know God made you and is not against you?
Scientist Isaac Newton said, "In the absence of any
other proof, the thumb alone would convince me of God's
existence".
It makes perfect sense to believe that God exists. He
made you to follow Him and He has a perfect plan for
your life.
GOD'S WAY is the best way. He alone knows how we are
most fulfilled because He made us.
(BIBLE) I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is
best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
(Isaiah 48:17)
Our world is a far cry from how God made it. God's
desire has never changed, He still wants what is best
for us. What has gone wrong?
We don't want what God wants for our lives. We think we
know best. The truth remains the same; God loves us and
still knows and wants what's best. |

MY
WAY
Is the way you live your life really working?
Singer Sinead O'Connor said, "God is good, we've just
messed up".
She's right, we have! Our philosophy in life is "I want
to go MY WAY and do my thing". We have no place for God
in our lives. The Bible calls this sin. Sin creates a
barrier between us and God and it stops us knowing Him
and His way for our lives. As a result we find it hard,
even absurd, to believe that God exists.
Before the numbers were drawn on the National lottery,
Bob Monkhouse would say, "I know I'm a sinner, but make
me a winner".
We treat sin so lightly but God doesn't. Justice demands
that sin be punished. If we don't accept God's way of
dealing with our sin whilst on earth, God will deal with
us when we die.
(BIBLE) There is a way which seems right to a person but
the end leads to death. (Proverbs 16:25) |

ONLY
WAY
Did you know that only Jesus can get you to God?
Tennis star Michael Chang said, "The money's great but
it won't last. What will last is the love of Christ in
my heart".
Jesus Christ is the only way to lasting fulfilment but
more importantly, He's the ONLY WAY to God.
(BIBLE) Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father but by me. (John 14:6)
God must punish sin but He also loves us and desires our
friendship, so He sent Jesus to die on the cross taking
the punishment we deserve for our sin. Jesus' death
makes it possible for us to be forgiven and experience
the richness of life with God here on earth. After His
death Jesus came back to life and is now preparing a
place in Heaven for all those who receive God's
forgiveness.
Our forgiveness cost God His only Son, He allows no
other way. |

Do
you know that you're going the wrong way?
When you're on a journey and you realise that you are
going the wrong way, you would be foolish to keep on
going that way. If you have realised that you are going
the wrong way then you need to start going God's way.
(BIBLE) But if you don't turn to God and change the way
you think and act, you too will all die. (Luke 13:3)
To start going God's way you need to do a U turn:
Admit - You need to admit to God and yourself
that you have sinned, that you've left God out of your
life and gone your own way.
Believe - You need to believe that Jesus died for
you on the cross, taking the punishment that you deserve
for your sin, so that you could be forgiven by God.
Commit - You need to commit your whole life to
God. You need to TURN AWAY from living your life without
God and start living it God's way.
God's way is the best way but it isn't the easiest.
Remember that God is with you all the way. |

Will
you say the prayer below and get on track?
Father God
Thank you that you love me even though I have not loved
you. I know I have lived my life my way and have left
you out. I know that this has stopped me having a
friendship with you. Please forgive me for going my own
way and doing the wrong things I've done. Thank you that
Jesus died on the cross and came back to life to take
the punishment for my sin. I commit my life to you
because I now want to live my life your way. I choose
this day to follow you and your plan for my life. Please
send your Holy Spirit to help me. This I pray with all
my heart and In Jesus name, Amen.
Welcome to God's family!
